This handle has been designed to replace your old weak handle and is almost impossible to rip off due to the strong stainless steel internal backing plates working with the 5mm powder-coated stainless steel handle. Handles are specific to make/model doors, which makes them more accessible compared to buying a more expensive replacement handle from a dealer which will be just as weak as the original one. Once fitted the door can only be opened using the Slamlock which is included in the kit.
